Alex - Investment Analyst: "If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way"
Alex joined Timeline's investment team after experiencing the industry's shortcomings firsthand. "I was a financial adviser at a large UK wealth management firm and saw how detrimental high fees for funds that often underperformed their benchmarks can be," Alex explains. "It felt like the right time to find a company that better fit my own principles."
Outside work, you'll find Alex playing lacrosse and netball, or recently taking up padel (rather poorly!). Sunday runs through Regent's Park, and time with friends and family completes the picture.
Will - Regional Director: "Keep the faith"
For three years, Will has championed Timeline in the South West, helping advisers discover our portfolios and platform. What drew him to Timeline was its sense of purpose: "Timeline caught my eye as an exciting alternative, full of purpose. I could see that Abraham was making a real difference."
Will has witnessed Timeline's evolution from MPS and Financial Planning technology to a fully integrated tech ecosystem. "Having worked in platforms before, our new system is revolutionary," he notes. When not transforming the adviser experience, Will enjoys wedding planning, travelling for food and wine, and attempting "very poor golf."
His philosophy: "When the financial planning profession wins, we all win."
Thomas - Chief Product Officer: Building the future
As Chief Product Officer, Thomas builds the future of financial advice with our software development team. "We break through the 'it's always been done this way' thinking that stops innovation," he explains. "It takes courage, and Abraham has that in bucketloads."
Thomas has a unique fascination with urban design and how streets connect communities. It’s this kind of thinking that influences his approach to Timeline's integrated platform. His advice to advisers: "Just go for it. We don't just offer tech, we offer a streamlined, simplified way of running your business."
