Michael Batten - Implementation Associate
"Jump on the front seat of the rollercoaster and don't forget to smile for the camera!"
With over 4 years in Financial Services reinforced by a host of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment certificates, Michael joins us after an adventurous 2023 travelling career break that took him to the Canadian snowfields of Whistler, BC. There, he and his best friend transformed from average skiers into après-ski enthusiasts, dancing in ski boots to live music at Merlin's.
Now he's channelling that same energy into mastering Timeline's integrated platforms. Michael is excited to become an expert across all our systems as we continue delivering the UK's leading DFM service. His mission? Ensuring our advisers can navigate every nuance of our technology with confidence.

Tom Lister - Product Manager
"My role is to make things work together seamlessly for advisers"
With 3 years of Financial Services product experience, Tom also brings a fascinating heritage to Timeline – his ancestor invented antiseptics, inspiring a well-known mouthwash brand. But he's making his own mark by building seamless connections between planning and portfolios, portfolios and platform, Timeline and back-office systems like Intelliflo, Transact, and Nucleus.
An Oxford graduate with a Master's in Biochemistry, Tom moved into fintech early on, working across product and data roles in Payments and Credit. His blend of analytical thinking and technical fluency helps ensure everything fits together intuitively for advisers.
Tom’s goal mirrors our mission: to make Timeline a formidable standalone product that complements our MPS and challenges the big players.
Greg Brigden-Hammer - Adviser Success Manager
"Being the go-to place for service and knowledge"
Greg's personal story embodies resilience – his family survived WWII by changing their name from Hammerstein to Hammer. Today, he brings that same determination to Timeline as well as 12+ years of Financial Services experience, and perhaps some surprising interests: theatre and musicals, and a past as a sponsored BMX freestyle rider.
Greg believes that knowledge, support, and exceptional products set companies apart in our industry. By keeping Timeline's experts available for meetings and sharing real company insight, he's determined to make us the go-to destination for adviser success.

Daniel Smith - Business Development Consultant
"Empowering advisers to ensure clients' main question – 'Am I going to be alright?' – gets a resounding 'Yes'"
Daniel brings over 6 years of sector experience as well as both humour and determination to Timeline. He almost set a record for the shortest marriage by losing his wedding ring in an Olympic pool on day one of his honeymoon. Fortunately, a German diving club and many celebratory pilsners saved the day.
His mission at Timeline is serious: challenge the inefficiencies that prevent advisers from delivering exceptional client outcomes. Through our ecosystem, Daniel is committed to empowering advisers so they can confidently answer their clients' most important question.
