In my role as a Business Development Manager, I help financial advisers by presenting them with our solutions and technology, identifying suitable portfolios for their clients, and facilitating the implementation process.

Moreover, along with our Adviser Success team, I provide comprehensive post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Who is Tim Field?

I always had a keen interest in becoming a financial Adviser, yet the path wasn’t particularly straight forward or clear at the time, so as an alternative, I ventured into studying Engineering to follow my other passion, electronics.

In 2004 an opportunity presented itself to have a meeting with the Head of the local CIS branch, the rest as they say is history. I spent the next year studying for my FPC’s whilst advising on a local Pension/Savings book in Chesterfield. Subsequently I found myself working for HSBC & Natwest. Later in my career I moved to Aviva to begin life as a Consultant, before moving to Canada Life and subsequently Timeline.

Having advised myself, I understand a lot of the challenges advisers face on a day to day basis. Whilst in my career, I have spent a lot of time at the coal face attaining a high level of knowledge across Platforms, Pensions, Bonds, Trusts/IHT planning and Asset Management.

My time is very much taken up with my wife Rachael and two young daughters, Eloise and Lottie, with a keen interest in DIY and Socialising/Eating out. I enjoy most sports, with a particular focus on F1, I find the level of detail mesmerising.

We plan to help millions of people retire with confidence. We combine a data-driven approach, along with cutting edge technology to help empower financial advisers.

Our model portfolios are designed to help advisers reduce risk, remove the administrative burden associated with maintaining client’s portfolios and maximise returns, all whilst offering industry-leading low costs.

As a Consultant, I help financial advisers by introducing them to our solutions and technology, matching them to the right portfolios for their clients and helping with the implementation of our Ecosystem.

Following the initial onboarding, you can expect a high level of account management with plenty of engagement where required, to help add additional value to your business, whether that is through maximising the use of our proposition, or merely offering general help or an opinion.
