Find and select Timeline models on your platform
Summary
-
Models live on the platform: Timeline Model Portfolios are set up on each platform as model portfolios. You select them on the platform, the same way as any other model.
-
Access is per firm: your firm needs access to Timeline's models on each platform you use. Timeline arranges this for you.
-
Check what you have: in Timeline, the "Model Drift" tab under "Models" lists the platforms your firm's models are set up on.
-
Missing a model? If you can see some of a range but not the model you need, email support@timeline.co and we'll get it added.

Which ranges, and which versions (with or without 2% cash), are available can differ from one platform to another. If your platform isn't listed, ask us.
2. See which platforms your firm has
-
Click "Models" in the top navigation.
-
Click the "Model Drift" tab.
-
Look at the "Platforms:" row. It lists each platform your firm's Timeline models are set up on. Click a platform to see its models.
If it says "No platforms found for your firm.", your firm doesn't have Timeline's models set up on a platform yet.
3. Get access on a new platform
Email support@timeline.co with:
-
your firm's name exactly as registered, and its FCA number
-
the platform, and the wrapper if it matters (for example a SIPP or an ISA)
-
the ranges or individual models you want, for example "Timeline ESG Classic 30"
-
whether it's time-sensitive, for example a client application waiting on it
Giving the firm name and FCA number exactly as the platform holds them avoids access being set up against the wrong firm. We'll confirm once the models are available to you on the platform.
4. Find the models on the platform
Each platform has its own model portfolio search. Look for the model by name. Timeline models are named after the range and their equity weighting, for example "Timeline Tracker 30". On platforms that also offer a version holding 2% in cash, that version has "(2% Cash)" in the range name, so check you pick the one you intend.
Platform screens and menus are the platform's own, so for help with the platform's steps, contact the platform.
5. Before you recommend a model
Use the "Models" tab in Timeline to check the model's holdings, costs and risk ratings, and download fund factsheets and KIIDs for your file. See Timeline Model Portfolios: what you get and how they're managed.
You now know where Timeline's models are available and how to get them on your platform. Next, read What a model costs: fee plus OCF and the FAQs: Model Portfolios.
