As a Business Development Manager, I help financial advisers by introducing them to our solutions and technology, matching them with the right portfolios for their clients and helping with the implementation process.
I am also here to provide strong post-sales support, along with my colleague, Eleanor, who works as one of our Adviser Success Managers.

When I entered financial services I didn't know what to expect, or where a career in the industry could take me. I quickly learnt that I enjoyed relationships, and to have an impact on those relationships, and help those I engaged with, I needed to intimately know my subject, and to do that I needed to continually develop and push myself.
There began a long and varied career in distribution, working with clients large and small, across the globe and in various different sectors of financial services ranging from platforms to asset management, product providers to FinTechs.
I've been lucky to work with many influential and inspirational leaders and colleagues, and yet the first piece of advice ever given to me is still the piece that resonates most - "you have one mouth and two ears, use them in that proportion!"
I've always passionately believed in the power of technology to change lives, and of how this can be applied in Financial Services.
My personal investment preference has always been on the passive / low cost side and to work in a business where these two factors are the DNA of what we do was to good to be true. Once I then met the people I was sold!

Who is this fresh-faced enigma? What makes him tick? How did he end up at Timeline? Why should you trust him?
Having always had an interest in Financial Services, my first introduction to the industry came as a Transfers Administrator in 2018, for one of the largest Platforms in the UK. I worked in this role whilst completing my Economics degree at Newcastle University.
This experience gave me my first real taste of the industry and exposed me to working with financial advisers for the first time. Once finished with my studies, I returned to the same company but this time swapping administration for my first sales role, focusing on Platform, Multi-Asset Funds and Managed Portfolios.
I joined Timeline as the Business Development Manager for the South West in September 2022. Since then, I have continued to support advisers and have loved being part of the Timeline journey.

Having decided to hang up my boots at the end of the 2022 season, after nearly 20 years of playing rugby, I now spend my weekends unsuccessfully chipping away at the never ending list of DIY jobs. I love all things food and drink and spend as much time as I can travelling with my partner, Lara, and my bonkers spaniel, Harris.
