The Age Of Empires: Rebuilding in a Diverging World

The recent webinar explored the factors reshaping market conditions and the challenges and opportunities for investors.

During the session, we examined the big economic cycle, tracing its evolution throughout history and analyzing its profound impact on the global order. By reviewing key historical events—from tulip mania to the railroad bond frenzy to the big tech bubble—we considered how shifts in economic paradigms have influenced geopolitical dynamics.

We also discussed recent changes in the world order driven by globalization, technological advancements, and shifting political alliances. These factors continue to reshape market conditions, presenting both challenges and opportunities for investors.

Additionally, we explored the effects of a diverging world on asset classes like fixed income and equities, highlighting strategies aimed at enhancing investment portfolios in this evolving environment.
